Hey, I’m Caroline.

I write romance novels about broken people who deserve beautiful love stories. Pull up a chair. Stay a while.

I believe in second chances, slow burns, and the kind of love that doesn't ask you to be fixed first.

I'm a romance author, a nonfiction writer, a podcast editor, a tarot reader, and a total book nerd who co-hosts a podcast about the stories that wreck us in the best way. I live in Colorado Springs with my family and two cats named Calcifer and Howl.

My debut novel is coming soon, and it's the book I've been writing in my bones for years
without knowing it.

The Everglen Series, Book One

Ballet was the only thing that ever made Ivy feel like herself, until an injury took it away, and took her with it.

She finds herself in Everglen on Pinewood Corner, starting over, dealing with her hip injury, and pulling espresso shots.

Ben is a plaid-wearing, indie musician who looks at Ivy like she’s a masterpiece, not a tragedy. But Ben has ghosts of his own that surround him, his band family, and the coffee shop itself.

As the two of them find sanctuary in each other, the reality of their trauma and past lives comes between them. Will Ivy let her tragic Ballet past decide her future? Or will she choose joy and find a new version of belonging, love, and family? Will Ben start living his own life and not the one laid out for him?

This is a story about what happens when the curtain closes, and life begins. And it all starts with a cup of coffee.

Coming Soon

Not just romance.

Before Ivy and Ben, there was Let Her Return — my nonfiction book for the woman who's done the work and still feels lost. If you found me through that book, welcome. You're still in the right place.

Let’s Talk Books

I co-host Bookish Ambitions with my cousin Catherine — a podcast about books, book-to-screen adaptations, and the fandoms that take over your whole personality. New episodes out regularly.

Get Ben's Playlist. Coming Soon!

I put together a Harmony Coffee setlist — the songs Ben plays at the shop, with liner notes written from his perspective about why each one matters to him. It's free, it's a vibe, and it's my way of saying thank you for being here.

Drop your email and I'll send it straight to you.

No spam. Just music, book updates, and honest dispatches from someone deep in the work.
